Welcome to South Darley Church of England Primary School.

We are a small village school in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales where, in the words of Ofsted, children "flourish in a loving family." With around 55 pupils in three classes, our staff know every child by name, and every child knows they belong. But small does not mean limited — every junior learns a musical instrument, every child swims, and our long-running partnership with schools in Kolkata gives children a genuine window onto the wider world. Ofsted judged us Good in all areas in June 2024.

Wraparound care runs from 8:00am to 6:00pm every school day, we have places available across the school, and our door is always open.
